Future Fambo gives thanks to ‘Amazing God’

Deejay Future Fambo reflects on his life, and the blessings that have come his way, with his latest single Amazing God.

The song, produced by Andrew Powell, was released via Worl Blast Music on July 27.

"My mother is the one who inspired me to do this song. God is very important in my life, He is everything and I continue to thank Him for bringing me to this point in life. He has been there for me and done so many things that I have to show Him gratitude," said Future Fambo.

Although the veteran deejay is cognisant of the fact that God plays an integral role in his life, he said that inspirational music is not necessarily a new direction for him musically.

"Well, it's kinda, but I will be focusing mostly on 'better' music - music with a message and music that will resonate," said Future Fambo.

The veteran deejay, given name Warren Williams, emerged on the music scene in the early 1990s after winning a talent competition at the then Roof International label, owned by businessman and producer Courtney Cole.

Recording under the moniker Future Troubles, he scored hits with Kung Fu and China Mi Live. Later on, songs like Drunken Dance, Rum and Red Bull with Beenie Man and Tonight We Ravin solidified his presence in the dancehall space.
