Social media isn't always for the faint of heart, as viral criticism and bullying can be cruel - Bishop Trishawna 'Changes 22' Connolly knows this all too well.

The self-proclaimed apostle, who heads the World Change Five Fold Ministries, says it takes divine intervention not to give in to the negativity that is thrown at her while doing the work of the Almighty.

"It takes a great level of obedience because I am human so I try my best to intentionally lean on the word of God. I don't want to ruin the reputation of God or my salvation. Some of these people are lost and they are paying for it, but it does not mean they are evil, while there are some who are evil," she said.

For approximately three years, Connolly, who currently has more than 153,000 followers on TikTok, has been vocal about her premonitions and prophesies as it relates to social media influencers and the common man. While some may take heed, others have called her a clout chaser and false prophet. She, however, remains unbothered.

"I don't know a lot about some of these TikTokers because some of them are derogatory and they are living a life that I am abstaining from. I cannot say that I see them no matter how they are trending, because God will ruin me. I can only talk about what I see in the prophecy. Some of them delve in the realm of the spirit and believe in guard ring, horoscope and tarot cards and all. We seers don't choose who or what we see, just as how you don't choose what you dream. I prophesy about persons who are not popular but people don't focus on that," Connolly said.

She does not sport the appearance of the traditional pastor and persons have accused her of altering her face which she denies.

"There were times when the head was wrapped and they used to mock mi and say how mi look so. I have never altered my body except for when I was a sinner and I used to bleach. I use make-up and wigs, my lips are natural and is a family trait," Connolly said.

Following a string of violent activities including the deaths of two prominent TikTokers Niah Gang and 41 Buss Head, there have been calls to halt the app's use in Jamaica. But, Connolly said TikTok is not the problem.

"TikTok isn't getting out of hand. The devil is, and people lack knowledge. They (users) are playing games and they are using words and saying that they are going to kill each other, not knowing that word and life is in the tongue. They are speaking death over each other even though it is a life. All the Lord is using me to do is use me to wake them up," she said.
