Man held with identity information
Sleuths attached to the Westmoreland Police Division have charged 20-year-old Dante Willis of Seaton Crescent, Savanna-la-Mar, with possession of identity information and possession of access device following an incident on Great George Street, on Tuesday.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar police are that at 6 p.m., Willis, who is a suspect in a murder, was seen in the vicinity of the police station and was accosted. He was searched and a phone was found in his pocket. The device was searched with his permission and found to contain several excel files with the names, addresses, and zip codes for individuals living overseas. The phone also contained photographs of debit cards belonging to persons living overseas.
Willis could not give an account for the discovery. He was subsequently charged after a question-and-answer session. His court date is being finalised.
