Taxi stand bust-up leaves man bruised

A forklift operator of Redban district, Mocho in Clarendon, has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, following an incident at a taxi stand in Mocho on Monday.
He has been identified as 33-year-old Jeffrey Henry. Reports from the May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch are that at 6:15 p.m., Henry and a painter got into an argument. The argument escalated and Henry punched the man in his face causing bruising and swelling. A report was made to the police, and Henry was pointed out to the lawmen. He was subsequently charged based on the complainant's statement.
A court date for him is being finalised.
