Terry Ganzie’s ‘We Rise’ explodes online

December 04, 2025

Terry Ganzie is celebrating a powerful milestone as the official lyrics video for his single ' We Rise' has achieved more than 1 million YouTube views in just one month.

Produced by Temps Music and AfroWorld Music, the motivational single - released shortly before the catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa - has taken on new depth and meaning, emerging as a source of strength, unity, and national pride in the storm's aftermath.

"What began as a dynamic lyric video has evolved far beyond entertainment. The song has exploded across Jamaica, resonating deeply with listeners who see their own struggles, perseverance, and will to rebuild reflected in the song's message," said Terry Ganzie.

The timing of the release has been described by fans as almost spiritual, as the anthem now speaks directly to the emotional and spiritual climate on the island.

"The themes of resilience, faith, and rising above hardship have connected with Jamaicans in a profoundly personal way, offering comfort and motivation during this time of national healing," he said.

No stranger to music, Terry Ganzie is known for timeless hits such as Who's Responsible, Treat You Right and Jah Will Help. Emerging in the early 1990s, he was a part of music royalty working closely with Penthouse Records and Bobby Digital. Although he has been off the radar for a while, he has plans to release more timely music for his fervent fan base.

"My mission has always been to uplift and awaken the people, to remind them that no matter the system, the heart of reggae is truth," he added.
