On Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India the West Indies' men's and women's teams qualified for tomorrow's 2016 ICC World Twenty20 finals. The West Indies Women defeated New Zealand while the men triumphed over the hosts India.

Scores:

Women: West Indies 143 for six (20 overs); New Zealand 137 for eight (20 overs). West Indies Women won by six runs.

Men: Indies 192 for two (20 overs); West Indies 196 for three (19.4 overs). West Indies won by seven wickets.
